Hey guys!

This latest post is showing off one of the outfits I have potentially lined up for Parklife Festival in June. Parklife should be a really good fun as it marks the end of my exams, and I went last year and really enjoyed it. Are you going to any festivals this summer?

At the moment I am revising for my exams, but they will all be over soon and I can start to enjoy the summer! I have recently bought quite a few things from Missguided so you will see them in the coming weeks on my Instagram and on here. Please follow me as I’m trying to build up more of a following on Insta!

I admit playsuits are not the easiest to wear but they are really popular at festivals and I think this one is bang on trend. The bright colours and 70s’ vibes are perfect for the festival atmosphere. I love the plunging neckline and flared sleeves as well. From my Missguided haul, I also bought the silver body chain which looks really great with any plunging top and is another festival essential.

I have styled the playsuit with a leather jacket and boot heels but I’m sure you can think of other ways to wear it. Lace up sandals may be better for the hotter days. Not only can this playsuit be worn at a festival, it would also be a great holiday piece.

I love my sunglasses, Topshop does some really nice ones. I recommend you go in to store though as its so important to make sure they suit you. I struggle with a lot of shapes, including avaitors, but these seemed to work due to the colour. My favourite shape is usually the cat-eye but I decided to go for something different. The jacket is from Zara and is old but I have linked one that is quite similar. I love Zara leather jackets as they are not too expensive but are real leather and therefore feel a lot smoother and don’t have the PU smell.

This outfit would also look great with a fedora if you have one.

I hope this post has helped give you some inspiration for the festival season. Can’t wait to show you some more of my new purchases! Hope you all enjoy the Bank Holiday Weekend and please leave comments as I would be interested to know what you may be wearing at other festivals.

Love,

The Dove’s Dress
